1927 Ford Model T speedster / dirt track racer




Description:

1927 Ford Model T dirt track racer. Barn find, amazing original car in original paint and patina. Some original lettering still shows. Body shortened about 8", with special hand work. hand made bucket seats, racing windscreen. Rans a modified Model A engine and trans. We now have the engine and transmission for the car. A 200 ci. Model A 4 cylinder with twin Ford Carbs and a 3-speed manual transmission and exhaust header. This car is a true look at racing in the 1930's and 40's. We are told this car saw racing in Iowa and Nebraska on dirt tracks as late as the 1940's. Has not run in 65 years. We will be installing engine after the first of the year. Price is the same before or after.
